Hello Panther Nation! I am Michael Wuensch, Assistant Principal for students with last names M-Z. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this outstanding Santa Rita community and to be working together to be the best middle school in the state! I am committed to providing our young scholars with a safe environment where they are free to pursue excellence and feel EMPOWERED TO BE CHAMPIONS!

I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University, and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University of Austin. Before administration, I served as a middle school mathematics teacher and athletics coach for Round Rock ISD and Hays CISD. I taught 7th and 8th grade math and coached football, basketball, and track.  

I am a proud husband and father of two boys. My wife, Brandy, is a real estate broker and owner/operator of Cityview Reality. My sons, Mason and Brayden, are passionate about sports and enjoy swimming, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. My passions include exercise and sports, service and volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

My name is Brent Neal, the 6th grade Assistant Principal. This is my 5th year in LHISD and my first year serving as AP at Santa Rita Middle School. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with are students to help them become Champions. I have been in education for 22 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

My wife Stephanie is a nurse for Baylor Scott & White.  I have 3 kids who have attended LHISD schools. My daughter graduated from LHHS in 2022 and I currently have 2 sons who attend High School here in Liberty Hill. I like to read, fish, and watch my sons play football in my spare time.
