LEGACY RANCH

LIBERTY HILL

specialized programs at LHISD high Schools

Liberty Hill ISD offers a variety of programs of study across all career clusters at both high school campuses. Due to specialized facility requirements not all programs of study are offered on both campuses.

Students in the Class of 2028 and beyond are eligible to enroll in specialized programs regardless of their home campus assignment in order to meet their postsecondary education plans or career paths.

Students can enroll in specialized programs not offered on their home campus by completing an “A/B” day on their home campus and an “A/B” day on the specialized program campus. Enrollment is not guaranteed and will be determined based on specialized campus program availability and capacity.  Students residing in the school attendance zone for their home campus have priority seating in specialized programs.

Transportation will be provided for students who choose to participate in specialized programs not offered on their home campus.

Students are encouraged to meet with their counselor prior to enrollment to discuss specialized program participation. Students who request enrollment in specialized programs will be expected to maintain their attendance. If transportation issues lead to excessive absence, students will be subject to removal from the specialized program and be required to remain on their home campus. Specialized programs require special scheduling and commitment on the part of parents, students, teachers, and counselors. Students are urged to contact their counselor early to start exploring participation in a specialized program.
